Broken States of America

we were once united,we once fought for the same cause,we used to cry the same tears,we used to care,where did this union go?,we pointed fingers and blamed,our hate towards eachother keeps this country broken,instead of standing side by side,we cant because the they dont believe the same things we do,a important event in our history crashed on us one day,united we were for a day or two,this event taking lives of many should have been our eye opener,again this country should fight the same fights,cry the same tears,care,live up to the name that was passed down to us,the only thing holding us together are the borders, untill we unite we are still the Broken States of America

A Helpful Mirage

this desert seems to be an empty sandbox

noone here besides you and me

a mirage

everytime i see you dunes away

i run

i struggle

 i jump to you yet you fail to catch me.

i lay in the sand screaming at the image of you in my head

when will you come to life to catch me when i fall

or do you already?

is this dehydrated body to blind to see it?

being rescued i see in my stupidity

that you where there all along

a mirage

you never left me

each time i jumped to you i fell

each time i looked up i saw you dunes away 

even though struggled i keeping going your way

even though filled with water i see u as a mirage

telling me

"i still havent caught u"

finish

This never ending journey

alone

on this empty street, everyone flees from me

am i alone on this journey

will it ever end

i try to stop, but keep on walking

i scream out for someone to stop me

noone shows

where is everydbody?

this road has gone to far

i want it to finish

these feet callused and dirty need to be renewed

i have come far enough

someone, anyone

stop me
